Hello June 5, 2021 SAT test takers,
Just a friendly reminder that the long wait is almost over, and that June 5th SAT scores are about to be released on the morning of Wednesday, July 14th.
Don't bother trying to stay up until midnight on Tuesday. Instead, set your alarm for sometime after 7 am EST. Scores are normally released throughout the day in "batches," but the first (and largest) batch of scores is normally released sometime between 6:30 - 7 am EST.
If you don't receive your scores in the morning, then don't panic: the College Board usually releases another large batch around 10 hours later (4-6 pm EST). Some unlucky students might have to wait even longer, but the vast majority of students will receive their SAT scores in one of these first two batches.
Why does it take so long to receive June scores—more than 5 weeks, as opposed to the usual 2-week turnaround? Blame it on the AP (Advanced Placement) exams, which are also administered by the College Board in May of each year, and which slow down the June SAT grading process significantly.

Remember that the June SAT is not a QAS exam, meaning that you will NOT be given the opportunity to view the test questions. In addition, the College Board no longer releases full information about the scoring curve.
Good luck, Brian
